Traditional Notary.The signer and Notary meet face-to-face in person. Requires a physical paper document with an original written signatures.

Hybrid Notary.A hybrid closing is one in which the signer has the option to E-sign non-critical, non-notarized documents. E-Signing typically takes place before meeting with a notary to finalize the closing. This means that signing appointments typically take less time and require fewer pages to be printed.

In Person Electronic Notary.The signer and Notary meet face-to-face in person, however the actual documents are presented on a laptop, tablet and signatures are applied electronically. No paper and pen are required.

Remote Online Notary.The signer and Notary “meet” online and communicate using audiovisual technology. Signers are identified through a combination of two or all of the following: knowledge-based authentication (KBA); credential analysis; remote presentation. Documents are presented via screen share method and signatures are applied electronically.
